Sunday Ticket To Go!
I just watched some of the Rose Bowl highlights on my iPod. Yes, I watched the game, and it was worth watching again. Probably like millions of people who also watched the game, $1.99 didn’t seem to me like too much money to enjoy the video capabilities of my new iPod.
NFL and broadcasting partners: please take notice. I would love to watch Broncos highlights like this every Monday next season. I would pay for a subscription service to automatically download weekly highlights to my iPod. But please make it worth our while like ABC/ESPN did — I couldn’t pass up 20 minutes of highlights for only $1.99
Let the negotiations begin between the NFL and Apple as soon as possible so that this can get worked out. Give us the option to download a game at a time, subscribe to a single team’s season highlights, or subscribe to the whole season. We’re football nuts, and we’ll do it.

I bought my daughter a video Ipod for Christmas. I’d download highlights of the Broncos as well. Great idea!!

I am in the minority these days since I dont own an iPod. With the satellite TV, radio for music and sports, I dont really know if I would use it that much. The ability to download TV programs and highlights is intriguing though.

i have almost every game this year from this year saved on my pc in ‘quick cut’ format, from directv…where they edit the game into a 30 minute block..no commercials, no inbetween play hoopla..etc…
going to see if i can’t turn those into quicktime movies to put on the ipod!
though, of course, that doesn’t help any of you, as that would be illegal

Now that is the idea I like….the “quick cut” game with no commercials. I would love to be able to download those to an iPod. To be honest, games are entirely too long. I would like to watch the Rose Bowl in less than 4 hours.

I don’t have a video iPod - just the original 5 gig and a shuffle - but I still buy lots of videos on iTunes.
I would LOVE to be able to watch game highlights in iTunes.
For those that don’t know - you can still watch the videos on your computer if you have iTunes. No need for an iPod.
My wife and I hook up my PowerBook to our TV and put it on full screen and watch Law & Order episodes I download. The video quality on the TV is just as good as regular TV when we do this. Maybe even better.

Hey Hark,
I would love to get those quicktime videos if I could. It would be great to get those onto my iPod.
